Climbing at Casket Quarry (map here): The quarry’s ice and mixed routes are renowned for their steepness and technical quality. Many of the finest mixed routes are equipped. We’ll also have top-ropes hung on selected plum (and plumb!) lines. And don’t forget to take loads of photos! Your pictures may end up being featured as part of next year’s festival!

Daytime Clinics: Clinics are held at Casket Quarry. Follow the links for clinic descriptions and registration.  Contact us with any questions regarding clinics; we’ll be happy to help point you toward the clinic that will suit you best.

Activities For Non-climbers: In addition to climbing, the quarry environment is an ideal location for other forms of winter recreation. The College of St. Scholastica Outdoor PURSUITS! team will be back again with a rack of fat-tire bikes, plus we’ll have an observation area with front row seating and hot drinks for watching climbers in action. This is a park for all users and a community festival, everyone is welcome! Bring your frisbee!

Evening Activities and Presentations: All evening activities will be held at Clyde Iron Works (bar and restaurant), top floor. Clyde is a terrific and convenient place for climbers to eat dinner–a converted foundry famous for sandwiches, pasta, and Neapolitan style pizzas!

5 pm–6:30 pm: Gear Swap

Dig out your old climbing gear or that backpack, stove, or other camping equipment you never use and cart it to the swap. See what you can trade it for, or what deals you can snap up! Free event.
