This clinic, led by Margo Talbot, is an opportunity for women to learn one-on-one from an expert level climber. Margo will also be presenting at our evening festivities about how climbing has inspired her life. You do not need experience to join this clinic. Instruction will include safety, gear, ice tool and crampon placement, as well as techniques specific to women’s bodies and strength centers. Obtaining individual climbing gear (boots, crampons, harness, helmet) is the responsibility of the participant. Gear can be rented through the UMD Recreational Sports Outdoor Program, but rental gear is limited, so reserve early. Clinic cost is $50/person.
